NDIS & Disability Physiotherapy in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland

Bringing Quality Care To Your Doorstep

At Hinterland Physio Group, we pride ourselves on supporting everyone in our communities. We understand that sometimes due to the location of where we live, it can be challenging to access services. That is why we bring our services to you throughout the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Our mission is to provide the same timely access to quality NDIS and disability support physiotherapy services that you would expect living in a city centre, in our own communities or your own home.

We provide both in clinic and home visits throughout the Sunshine Coast Hinterland to make accessing services as easy as possible. We provide our physiotherapy services for NDIS participants and people living with disability from all of our clinic locations in Palmwoods, Woombye, Kenilworth and Kilkivan.

What to Expect in An NDIS Appointment

At Hinterland Physio Group, your first appointment will be for 1 hour regardless of if it is a home visit or at the clinic. Our physiotherapist will conduct a thorough history with you, ensuring we understand what you would like to achieve from physiotherapy, what your goals are, how often you would like physiotherapy input and weather you would prefer in home or in clinic sessions.

We will ensure we have all the appropriate information and relevant past history and will arrange to follow up on any additional information required. Next, your physiotherapist will conduct a thorough examination to help determine the most appropriate management and direction to take.

After your initial appointment, your physiotherapist will establish an ongoing management plan based around your goals and will development a service agreement. Once done, your physiotherapist will check the proposed management plan with you to ensure it suits your needs, goals and lifestyle before implementing.

Throughout your physiotherapy journey, we will continue to review the appropriateness of your management plan. If at any point your goals or your needs change, we will simply review your plan and make any changes required.
